SCOTLAND 1 V ITALY 2

First Half

Scotland played Italy on Saturday in a do or die match at Hampden Park GLASGOW. Scotland had to win to the European Finals next summer. It was Italy who took the lead only after 70 seconds when Luca Toni put a well taken goal past Gordon. After Italy had scored scotland started to get into the game but just after 12 minutes scotland should have been 2-0 down but the goal was offside. just before half-time Italy cleared a bound goal by scotland off the line and at Haft-Time Italy went in 1-0 up.

Second Half

The first chance of the second half fell to scotland but the ball went wide of the left hand post. Mcfadden when it the goal support post from a very wide spot. Then scotland got a free kick and from that free kick Barry Ferguson Made it 1-1 and the scotland fans where singing very loud and we ahere all happy because we had a goal against the world champions. Mcfadden then missed an open goal when kenny Miller played to ball to him but he took his shot and it went past the post by a wee bit. Then just when we thought we would get a piont the refferee gave Italy a free kick But it should have been a Scotland free kick. it was a very sad day fot the scotland fans.

After The Match

After scotland lost me and my mates went out in town and got drunk because we where upset beacuse scotland got screwed out of a point in the match against Italy. After we had a few drinks we decided to go and have something to eat because we where hungry after drinking away our tears after scotland lost to Italy but that just life and it happens to us all and we just could not believe what we had seen happen on the t.v.
